Description
Solo Performance is proud to introduce its MACH-XV-V6-CH stainless steel, mandrel bent, converter back dual exhaust kit for the 2015-Present Challenger SXT.
Raw American muscle on the outside and a refined, non-invasive performance exhaust note on the inside. The dramatic sound difference from outside to inside is accomplished by months of research and development plus specific product design. Fit, form, and function are the cornerstones of our Solo Performance MACH-XV-V6-CH exhaust kits. All of us at Solo Performance are very proud to bring this exhaust kit to the Challenger community.
Our X-Design muffler (made specifically for the SXT) and our exhaust tips are made from T304 stainless steel and our 2 ¼” mandrel bent pipes are made from T409 stainless. We have this free flow exhaust kit offered with three different tip styles to choose from. You can retain your stock exhaust tips (OEM tips are manufactured into the rear valence), or you can choose from our Dual Round (DR) or Dual Square (DS) tips shown in the pictures and video below. We use J-Pipes on the Solo MACH-XV-CH exhaust kit to eliminate the interior drone while keeping the deep, exterior muscle car tone!
Exhaust Kit Specs
The MACH-XV-V6-CH exhaust kit is a full stainless steel, mandrel bent, free flow cat-back exhaust kit.
Front Muffler Assembly: 2 1/4″ mandrel bent T409 stainless steel exhaust pipes combined with our dual in, dual out T304 stainless steel MACH-X muffler. This is a true X design muffler that is 14″ long with a 4″ X 9″ body. The X design calms the noise and smoothes out the rough RPM ranges while remaining free flow.
Right and Left tail pipe assembly using Solo Quad tips (dual tips each side): 2 ¼” mandrel bent T409 stainless steel pipe with a ball and flair front connection ( where the tail pipe meets the front muffler assembly) to help with exhaust tip adjustments. Solo tips come in dual round and dual square, please see pictures below.
Right and Left tail pipe assembly to be used with stock exhaust tips: These tail pipes are exactly the same length as the stock ones on the outlet side. This length works in conjunction with the stock tips that are built into the rear valence.
J-Pipes: All kits come with Solo adjustable J-Pipes to tune out the interior cabin drone frequencies. They will arrive preset from our shop for a stock or lightly modified car. Major modifications may require adjustment. That’s the highlight of an adjustable J pipe assembly. They also swivel, in order to tuck up and remain out of sight from the rear of the car.
