Description

This is one of our loudest exhaust kit for the 5th Generation V6 Camaro. All of us at Solo Performance are excited to bring our newest series the Cyclone converter back (cat-back) stainless steel, mandrel bent, dual exhaust kit to the Camaro community. These exhaust kits offer a deep, raw, rich and smooth exhaust note. These are “Sound on Demand” exhaust systems that produce the sound you want when accelerating or revving but becomes much quieter at cruise speeds. 

Solo has replaced that annoying cruise speed cabin drone with a comfortable exhaust note through advanced technology and a painstaking R&D process. Our Camaro-Street-Race 2 1/4” mandrel bent, stainless steel exhaust kits is a loud ( our loudest ) sounding performance exhaust kit with a deep 60’s American Muscle sound and no drone. This kit has a front Scavenging type muffler  that equalizes the cylinder pressure and accelerates while producing the American muscle car roar! At Solo, we realize that there are many different tastes and styles in performance exhaust and we strive to give you choice to satisfy your needs. 

The tailpipe assembly comes with Solo’s tunable J-Pipes. These J-pipes are capped off on the end, and as the sound waves enter the J-pipe they bottom out on the end cap and bounce back. Upon the sound wave re-entering the exhaust flow, it collides with the specific Camaro drone frequency and cancels it out. Since all Camaro engine harmonics are not exactly the same, we have made a slider end cap (just loosen the band clamp and slide the piece longer or shorter) so that you can fine tune the exhaust note if necessary.
